I take it you've seen the one at guitar gal? It looks to be in perfect condition although it has closed back tuners and a floating bridge. I had thought about getting it, but a regular EL-35 came up on Reverb so I grabbed it.
I will say that's it's a remarkable guitar in every aspect and worth every cent of what David charges for a new one. From the scent of the wood when I take it out of the case to the feel of the neck to the drop-dead gorgeous minimalist appearance to the tight, punchy, clean organic sound. It's an amazing instrument and it's inspired me to play much more than any other I've owned. Good luck finding one, I can't imagine it's a purchase you'd ever regret. Gary
