Default Do you make your bed?

Self explanatory. Either my wife or I do it every morning. She always says its a good thing to accomplish something early.

Never looked at it like your wife, but I agree. I’m not anal about neatness, but I tend to like things properly in their place. Doesn’t always work out that way though.

For me, it takes a little over a minute for the hot water to make it up to the upstairs faucet so I can shave. While I am waiting for the water to run hot out of the tap, I go make the bed. It's fast, it looks so much better, and it's one thing that my wife doesn't have to do every day.

It's just part of my routine and always has been.

Before the rugrat was born the bed was made every day. Now it’s only when we wake up before the little princess is up and about (She just started sleeping in a regular bed)

But soon she will start making her own bed as well as ours

First thing I do as well, in fact, I get up before my wife, most mornings and make my side of the bed while she still asleep.

There is straightening the covers, and then there is tucking in the sheets. Sometimes on the first, no on the second.

I don't "make" the bed, but I definitely pull the covers back into place, fold down the comforter about halfway, and set my pillows up so I can jump right back in at the end of the day!

I never used to do it, but when my girlfriend would spend the night she would make it every morning. I have to admit, I liked it.

Then she stopped doing it when she stayed over.

So, I do it now...

Nope. Total waste of time. I'll do it if someone might come over and see it but I live alone so I don't care enough. So many much better things to do...like play my guitar.

I'm retired, my wife works, so I make the bed every morning...every day...it takes me 60 seconds...

Yes, it's just going to get messed up again tonight...

But IMO, not making a bed for that reason is like not taking a regular shower or not cleaning house because you/the house is just going to get dirty again...
