They actually got a decent amount of airplay throughout the 70s on WNEW-FM in New York (102.7). They had a very unique sound, and Sandy Denny’s voice in particular caught my attention early on.

But she wasn't. She was only with Fairport for a couple of years. Her stuff is what I like, but she was only a small part of the Fairport Convention history.
