Here's a video showing how P-in-P is done in Reaper, even doing multiple windows. Kenny Gioia has many videos freely available on the details of using Reaper. |

I'll throw out one more option that might work: WeVideo, an online editing suite. Easy to use and does what you requested. You can try it free to see if you like it, then you could get a basic subscription that'll do 30 minutes of 720p video a month. If that works for you, it's just $5/month; $60 since you have to do a year (not sure if you can sign up and then cancel pro-rated).

And would have the benefit of having full featured Audio and basic video all in one software program.

Most users simply look at the various buttons available on the main screen and assume you can't do much with video in Reaper. It takes a bit more digging, and you then realize that all of the video manipulation is actually handled in Reaper using a "plug in", meaning it's similar to what you would do to edit EQ or add reverb to an audio track. Once you open up the Video plug in then you have the "Aha!" moment. |

I'm notoriously cheap, so if I can do something with Reaper I probably wouldn't pay for third party options. Reaper is a great value for the $60 and I have installed a few audio plug ins that were inexpensive to purchase. |
