Remember when a DJ was really a DJ? They would get their own "show" and could play the songs or (at my favorite radio station) whole sides of albums if they wanted to? Some would take requests. Repetition was a scourge to be avoided. Ah, good times.

We had a TV/Radio broadcasting program at my high school. Little 50 Watt transmitter. The 45's we got had the intro time printed on the labels along w/all the usual info...
