Ok, busted by Haasome, that was not my finger, but regrettably, that is the updated real pic of the mug and glass.

I tried Haasome's method of using a cord and pencil but the flimsy string broke. Then what I did was to fill the shot glass only with water, freeze it, then pour a pot of boiling water over the outside of the mug. When that didn't work I started pounding it on a pot holder and......we lost the mug. So this Thanksgiving I will be drinking my coffee from the pot and my booze straight from the bottle.
