Had one once that I let go of and regret it more than any deal I’ve ever made. Hope you find two so I can pickup the other!

Newton for sale
I am about to officially post a FS David Newton O but you may have beat me to it. Here are the specs per David's email to me:
pecs: Back and sides: African Mahogany, called Kayah. I labeled it "Moncla Mahogany" for the guy that I got the wood from. I often scribble something on the label that only makes sense to me. The date on the label is the "serial number". Top: Carpathian Spruce, top bracing: Red (Adi) Spruce. Neck: Honduras Mahogany, one piece. Headstock face veneer: Sapele Mahogany with "David Newton Guitars" brand over a pearl ornament. Fretboard: Pakauk, which is an African rosewood, with pearl side position dots, 1-3/4" at the bone string nut. Bridge: Brazilian Rosewood, bone saddle, and 2-5/16" string width c-c. Body binding: East Indian Rosewood with "Rope" style purfling, as is the Rosette. An O-size guitar is 13-1/2" wide at the lower bout & 4-1/4" deep at the end pin. Scale length is 24-7/8" I bought it in 1/01 as a couch picker but since then I landed a SCGC OM that is fulfilling this purpose so I am selling it. I can send photos. I would trade for a Collings parlor 12 string. I would sell it for $2300. Guitar and case are in mint condition. [email protected] |
