The North Colony Creek trail in Colorado's Sangre de Cristos is among the area's least visited, mainly because it's a 3 1/4 mile hike just to get to the trailhead. Put in 15 miles yesterday, it was spectacular.

Very nice, Mr. Paul, once again.

Your camera AND your boots are really getting a workout this summer!

Nice variety posted so far. I don't have much for travel waterfalls, so glad others are sharing those. That series from the colorful town is really cool.

A few more portraits.

Thanks fellas. Ken, I've been trying to hit the trail once a week this summer and our weather has been cooperating. Here is my other favorite from Tuesday's hike, same creek.

Up on the coast in Fort Bragg CA

A lazy day and thought it might make for a good cat nap, well someone else thought that was a good idea too.

Our friend Marie (former Big Wave surfer and CA gymnastics Champion) performing at AURI'S OPEN MIC in Half Moon Bay, CA. Guitar is a Martin 000-18.

This Open Mic is a bunch of FUN and runs every Thursday night from 6PM to 9PM at CAMERON'S PUB & INN located on Historic California Highway 1 in Half Moon Bay, CA.

Dedicated stage and wonderful sound system!

If you're going to be in the San Francisco area, come on by and join in the fun! And check out the scene on FB under "Auri's Open Mic".

Any chance you may know Gerald and Terri Beranek of Fort Bragg? Gerald is sort of a retired tree guy, author and photographer.

He's shared a lot of photos from the coast there. The ocean scenery is magnificent at that northern coast.

Nearly every day I go out for a walk in our neighbourhood, weather permitting. I always take a camera with me, so I’m always taking pictures of the same subjects. Different cameras/lenses, weather, seasons all provide variation, so I don’t tire of it.

Today was much the same, except I took with me a 12-year-old Canon Powershot A1200 which I recently rescued from a box in our closet. It was fun to shoot with this 12.1MP point-and-shoot for a change, and the results were quite pleasing.

That’s nice with that point and shoot. Just the other day I found an Olympus waterproof point and shoot from 2008 or so. I might check it out again.
