Default Anna Vidovic

Anna Vidovic...OMG what a talent. Her playing is just amazing...flawless and so relaxed during performance. Some day I hope to see her in concert.

Been listening to her for about 10 years now - play her concerts for my clients often.

Extremely talented gal for sure!

Saw in her Dallas about 3 years ago. She was flawless and able to give life to the music she played. I was 2nd row center (got lucky on tickets) and go to see her expertise and talent that allowed her to her play so cleanly, up close. 90 minutes of incredible music and enviable talent.

Not to diminish Ms. Vidovic's abilities, but here are two other guitarists that I like who are also female. In both, I've purposely chosen, below, non-classical pieces in their repertoire. There are other examples from their repertoire that are standard classical pieces.

Her rendition of Asturias is my favorite (even with the cougher in the background):

Ana is one of the reasons I picked up the guitar! I really love her interpretations

I want to strangle that dude. I could listen to her play forever. Fairly easy on the eyes, too.

I went to dinner with her a few years back. It was after a concert she gave. I was involved with the local classical guitar society at the time. Everybody who was involved was there, there was maybe 15 of us? I remember asking her about a piece she played. My comment was that she played it at a really fast tempo. She asked me if I played that piece. I did. We spent a few minutes talking about it. She seemed very interested in how I played it and my interpretation of the piece. It wasn't a passing comment, she was asking specifics, about certain passages, and it went on for a few minutes. The whole table was listening to the conversation. I remember feeling a little strange. This woman who had just sold out a concert was asking me my thoughts on a piece she just played in concert? The crazy part was I didn't sense anything judgmental about her questions, she was really interested in how I played it.

What a great memory. To get to talk to such an artist, who actually listens to what you are saying, must be great.

Cool story. I truly believe that she was genuinely interested in your interpretation. What was the piece, if you care to share?
