Hmmm. I always tell my wife to not do what I’m about to do.

Edit: The guitar sounded great. Al played a beautiful tune and the tone was very sweet. Great job John.

I appreciate that Ryan. Especially so coming from an accomplished builder such as yourself.

Beautifully sweet sound and quite haunting in DADGAD.

Have fun with this wonderful addition to your collection Paul

"Hmmm. I always tell my wife to not do what I’m about to do."

I know! I hate clicking on links. If anyone knows how to move this to YouTube it would be NICE

Thank you Ryan, and Godfather both!

Al mistakes the back and sides for Blackwood but he sure sounds NIFTY in DADGAD! And the bit in drop C is funky in the best way.

I expect to have this in my lap this week, God willing and the crick don't rise!

Many thanks to all who came along for the entire build, and KUDOS to John!!!

More music for the entire world! Right away, too...

Salud

Paul

What a beautiful, lush guitar--both visually and tonally.

Kudos, John--another masterpiece from your shop!

Congrats, Paul--looking forward to your full report!

I uploaded to YouTube:

If you'd prefer it on your own channel don't hesitate to reach out and I'll help you get it done. Amazing guitar!

Thank you very much for doing this. I tried to do it and had no luck. Any pointers you can give me would be appreciated.

What did I tell you about the tone Paul? The bass and mids are absolutely delicious, this is a splendid guitar and I am glad that I spent a couple of days with it.

John has indeed built another masterpiece!

Here is another tune, more Celtic and longer. If someone can put this in YouTube I would be grateful. I promise to learn this trick soon.

After some confusion this could be the right link
