Default No Time To Die - No Spoilers

Hi
This film was released in UK cinema on 30 Sept so many of us over here have now had the chance to see it.
Understand it has now premiered in the US and so if you like the Bond movies it is definitely worth seeing, and is a good finale for Daniel Craig.

Not sure it was my favorite, but it was extremely good. Still think Skyfall was the best of them all. Pretty much all Craig ones are my favorites. Except for the second one. Still not sure what that one even is about.
1- Skyfall
2- Casino Royale (pretty much tied #3 though - only edging out because it's his first one)
3 - No Time To Die (pretty much tied #2 though)
4 - Spectre
5 - QoS

Totally agree - Daniel Craig has been an outstanding Bond but director Marc Forster made an incomprehensible, confusing, jumbled mess of 'Quantum of Solace'.

Daniel Craig is my hands down favorite Bond. Bond wasn't a buffoon. He was deadly serious. Can't wait to see it.

We saw it on premiere day and then again after the opening weekend (I work at a theatre that has 4K cinema!). I loved it. My favourite along with Skyfall and Spectre. Lea Seydoux is outstanding.

Daniel Craig has brought the darkness and grittiness to the role that was always there in the books; the producers and directors have brought a visually realistic look to the genre. I’ve always loved the Bond films and the Craig sequence is by far my favorite.

I even loved Quantum of Solace although I get why it isn’t everyone’s favourite. I’m not sure we can place the blame entirely at the feet of the director; if I remember correctly the film suffered from production problems involving strikes etc…

I am looking forward to seeing the new Bond movie. Daniel Craig is by far my favorite 007.

Default Have any of you seen the new James Bond movie yet?

Just curious. I’m thinking about going to see it this week but it’s so darned long, I wonder if I want to invest that much time in it.

Those of you who’ve seen it, please chime in. Thanks in advance.

I just started another thread asking about it. A couple of the reviews I read said that it’s too long and the action and momentum of the film drag in spots.

I don’t know, I haven’t seen it, which is why I ask.

Don’t worry about the length: in my opinion it’s the length it needs to be. We didn’t really notice the time and thoroughly enjoyed the film!

Personally I can’t understand why many people have a problem with films that break the 2 hour barrier - as long as the story justifies it of course…

I answered your other thread but I’ll say it again here - we loved it! The length isn’t an issue if you’re into the story etc.

We went to watch it on Saturday, during the football game so there were probably only two other couples in the whole theater. We really enjoyed it and wonder where the series is going to go from here. I've never really been a Bond fan but my wife loves them. Seeing them as she does has made me enjoy them much more than I had before.

We didn't really notice the time, either. It held our attention enough for that to not be an issue.

I've always felt Craig was the perfect Bond, and can't wait to see the new one! Anyone have an idea where the this juggernaut will go after Craig?
