Default BOSS AD-10 stereo/mono switch

What is the purpose or function of the STEREO / MONO switch on the rear panel of the device? well thank you

xlr outputs can be forced to joined mono.
if you wonder why stereo, thats because ad10 has stereo effects.
and they are quite good in stereo too.

that is, a simple rule applies when I put xlr out of just one cable, so the setting should be MONO, when I put out 2 x xlr, the setting should be stereo. Yes? well thank you
