Default Can’t figure out where to go with this. (Original music content)

I started recording this nearly two years ago and I got a bit ambitious with it thanks to my progressive rock/metal influences. There’s a reason why I named this song “Never Done”. I know I can make two or 3 songs out of this, or just make it a 10+ minute long epic. Currently at over 6 minutes and it’s extremely rough around the edges especially on the later part where my timing is a bit off and I just get lost and have no clue where to go. Any suggestions?

For those curious about recording gear, I used iOS apps Bias, JamUp, and GarageBand for the DAW and drums and mixing, iRig HD guitar interface.

Any number of things for more variety, for example how about after playing your Dsus thing for a while do some chord progression patterns such as
Code:
3 3 1 x x x x
3 3 3 3 1 x 3
4 3 2 2 0 2 2
5 5 0 0 2 2 0
x x x x x 0 x
