Default Copying parts

This may be of some interest to others

A laser scanner copying a guitar body into a computer

Very cool. What margin of error do you expect in most cases?

Have never actually factored in a margin for error.

That is a good idea, I should do some experimenting for my own sake of mind.

I recall reading somewhere that with lasers you can expect margins that are extremely low, like around .001" in some cases. With a guitar it might not be that important unless you're going for extreme precision?
