Default Ridée Bretonne ( trad )

Today I propose an arrangement of a Breton dance. This is called a "Ridée".
It's fast, repetitive as often with dances ........

A very good exercise

Lovely Remy, I guess it would sound even nice without the thumb pick!

Thank you both for your encouragement.
My little guitar is in its element with this kind of piece

Default Ridée Bretonne ( trad )

Remy,
That’s fantastic! I’m really drawn to this type of music. Your playing is well done.
Your little guitar looks like an old romantic parlor guitar. What can you tell us about it? Nylon strings?
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks Tom
This guitar was made by French luthier Jean-Marie Fouilleul especially for me.
It's a 0 format with a romantic period look.
The violin is modern in its design and it is steel string.
Red cedar / Rio

Remy,
That’s one beautiful looking and sounding instrument. She is lucky to have landed in such skilled hands.
I found/ saw the slide show you posted earlier featuring this guitar and got a much better look at it- just beautiful. In looking at the Fouilleul website I noted the absence of this model and assumed it was one-if-a-kind.
Thanks again,
Tom

Jean-Marie has made more than 500 instruments already in his career.
he made several romantic little nylon stringers. In steel strings I think he made two copies like mine.
he is more specialized in classical guitar
