Thanks for posting those pics Jon.
My 2018 CH-OM does the same thing in that slight slope towards the bridge.
So that must be completely normal.
Thanks again

After reviewing your pictures Jon, I looked at my WS-1000 again. It has a slight amount of dip between the south (bridge) end of the sound hole and a tiny amount of bridge tilt. The dip is generously 1/16" total from flat longitudinally, and I've never noticed it before. The bridge might have 1-2 degrees of tilt. It is possible that the unidirectional tops sink a little more than woven tops. They obviously vibrate differently, hence the warmer sound. BTW my WS-1000 mostly wears medium gauge strings, 56-13.

You made good points too - these are not wood tops with a top radius (usually about 20-30 feet) and also comparatively little bridge tilt. They are different animals structurally.

I took the original description of dip as being across the "north" end of the sound hole between upper bouts where the fret board ends. I have no visible dip there, but I have not removed the strings to put a straight edge across that point.

Earl;

A radius of 20-30 feet seems a little excessive to me--but each to his own.
