La Guitara - women guitarists
I went out and bought this CD of women guitarists produced by Patti Larkin after reading about it in Acoustic Guitar Magazine. I recommend it whether you recognize all the names, some of the names, or none of the names. A portion of the proceeds goes to Guitars in the Classroom.

Wish I could have caught La Guitara when they came to Santa Cruz, CA in November. I think it included Patti Larkin, Mimi Fox, Muriel Anderson and Kaki King. Would be interested to read a concert review if anyone gets a chance to see them.

I got La Guitara from my sister for Christmas and I really like it. My only criticism is that I wish the Rory Block song was longer!

I too missed the concert tour when it was in my area -- the 2006 concerts omit Muriel and are "just" Larkin, King and Fox. I've heard Patti Larkin in concert and been to workshops featuring Rory Block and Muriel Anderson.
