Nice fingerpicking and great camerawork.

Wow! Some pretty spectacular playing. A couple observations: he must be a big guy - that X20 looks small on him. Unusual pickup configuration (well, maybe not, compared with an X10 Level 2).

I am in awe of players like that. Like seeing Tommy Emmanuel for the first time.

He is truly gifted.

More shots of Ewan's x20 in the link. I also observe his guitar has a concave depression under the bass side of the strings (presumably so he doesn't hit the top with the thumbpick he uses?). And check that trippy lightning bolt looking arm bevel!

Thanks--from the video I could tell there was something going on in that part of the top, but not what....

And that video is... moderately amazing, to put it gently. Hadn't heard of him, will be digging up a lot more now.

Some years ago I first heard him in this video and I still love it. He uses a delay and then offsets his picking exactly in between the delay notes to double the effect. I would love to try it but never got around to buying the right pedal or equipment. Someone out there probably knows what could be used and affordable.

For the nylon string lovers, but--a bit different since they are made from dental floss.

He has been around for quite a while and has evolved through a number of guitars, effects, and visuals. Pretty fascinating play.

That was an enjoyable watch. Pretty unique tone he produced, reminded me of the old 8 bit Nintendo game backing track kind of sound. Amazing player and style.

I really liked the low E string in the first video, couldn't help but notice it was a Fan Fret model.
