Major Pentatonic Scales Tabs....

Can someone tell me or send me tab for the major pentatonic scales?

I found this, but I do not know enough to know if they are right and what scales they are. Are these right?

They are all C major pentatonic. Also A minor pentatonic.

Those patterns are generic - you can move them around your fretboard and play any pentatonic, major or minor scale you like, i.e. C minor pentatonic, C major pentatonic, D Major, D minor, E blues - whatever.

Notice the red dots, those are the root note of the pattern. You have two octaves in each pattern. Place, match up, the red dot that is on the pattern with a note on the 6th string of your fretboard -- at the 6th string 3rd fret and you have G scale notes waiting for you. Place it on the 6th string 8th fret and you have C scale notes waiting for you. Want pentatonic use the pentatonic pattern, want blues use the blues pattern. Just stay within the pattern and those notes are waiting for you. Why 3rd fret for G scales notes? What note is the 6th string 3rd fret? It's a G note. Yep 8th fret is a C note, see how it works - place the pattern over a specific 6th string note and that scale is waiting for you. O'h the numbers, 1 through 4 - you have four fingers, index is 1, middle is 2, ring is 3, and little finger is 4. If the pattern shows the number 2 use your middle finger to fret that note. Important you learn the correct finger to use, makes things easier in the long run.

Now let's clear up something right now - Is that the only pattern? No. This one is called the 2 & 3 notes per string pattern, there are 3 notes per string and even 4 notes per string, any one will get you there. I like the 2 & 3 NPS as it's easy to span, others say the 3 NPS lets you play faster, as fast is not my thing I like the 2 and 3 NPS. So -- if any of you have started with another pattern stay with it, or if you have not picked a pattern I'd recommend the 2 & 3 NPS pattern.

Using patterns you do not need tab for scale work, just place and play your pattern. Hint, after you get the patterns where you can do them in your sleep start thinking how you can turn that string of scale notes into music (melody). Tab may well re-enter your life. Scales first melody next.
