Carbon G string
I have a set of La Bella 413P studio strings on my C12. I really like the strings, but the 3rd (G) string is just a bit too "tubby" sounding for lack of a better word. I replaced it today with a Savarez Alliance carbon and so far so good. I like the clarity of it.

A carbon third string can make a big difference on some guitars, can't it?

Yes, much better.

I'm not going to disclose what I initially thought this thread was about given the title!
