Default Sweet Baby James - cover

This is an old chestnut for sure...I learned it in the 70's, haven't played it in years..I had forgotten how...but I started playing it and my fingers remembered it...I may have missed a note or two.... but blame my fingers...not me..... played on my Taylor GS-7 http://soundclick.com/share?songid=9546527

Dan, great song!! I get a tinge of home sickness every time I hear the lines "...covered with snow, so was the turnpike from Stockbridge to Boston, those Berkshires seemed dreamlike on account of that frosting..." (I'm from Western Mass). Thanks, for sharing your wonderful rendition of it!

Very nice. Your recordings consistently deliver.

That's on my list of songs to learn but just haven't had a chance. It's moving up to the top now.

Oops - I got this confused with "You Can Close Your Eyes" but still a great one to learn.

I get a tinge of homesickness too when I hear that line; and I only lived out that way for a few years. AND I'm still in Massachusetts!

Nice job!

Nicely done, Dan! That's one that I've picked up lately, but JTs complex rhythms in fingerstyle are tough for me (while singing), and I may try strumming it as you do.

Best,

rr/Phil

Nice job, Dan....enjoyed that. Also liked your Prine cover of Hello In There....I've been noodling with that one this weekend. What a great tune.

I don't think you can miss a note, and I didn't hear it, anyway! As always, really nicely done. A new song from you is great to see on here.

I was impressed with your version of Suite Judy Blue Eyes. That was quite an undertaking, and you pulled it off very well! I would sure like to have the chord arrangement for that song. By chance do you still have it?
