This guitar sounds great. The clarity is really apparent and the essence of Olson is there, but Drew definitely has his own sound profile going on. I love it.

It's extremely easy to play as the sound really just jumps right out at you. The response is really quick, the volume is loud, and there is a lot of clarity and brightness too. I don't like Cedar guitars which sound mushy and quiet, this is certainly not one of those - a very lively guitar. The overtones are nice and not overdone, though it does get a little messy with moderate to heavy strumming. But if you stick strictly to your James Taylor repertoire, I don't foresee any issues with it

It really is an incredible top! Sounds that way too. The blues in the paua contrasts the reddish hue of both the top and back really tastefully

Beautiful guitar! Great combination with the cedar. What wood was used for the binding? I believe Olson used Brazilian on his.
