Comic Louie Anderson dead at 68
From cancer this morning in Las Vegas.
The funniest thing Anderson ever said in my book was he was walking into an All You Can Eat Buffett(he was 400lbs. at the time) and the host starts yelling “we aren’t a Buffett any more! We’re a dry cleaners so get out, get out!!’ Oh Louie, you will be sorely missed, especially by fat guys like me.🥲

I haven't heard Louie's name in many years. I remember him from his animated show "Life with Louie". I can still hear his voice.
According to the New York Times, he passed away due to "complications of diffuse large B cell lymphoma, a form of blood cancer". RIP Louis and thank-you for the laughs. |

I remember his joke about a brand of cookies called "Almost Home" that came out in the 80's. His line was it was a great name because that is about as far as he ever got them.
From all accounts, a really nice guy.

My first laugh of the day, Tom. I've never heard that one but it's hilarious.
