Kev, I can't find any videos for this plugin so I'm going to have to leave it out.

Not a biggie since it is Pro Tools and Mac only---- pretty niche

This is an interesting reviewer on the net.
Here is a video of all the plug in's that he actually uses. While many here are in the categories of which you are not interested in...he does list a few that might be in the categories you are seeking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNMCzKz3cQg Personally, I am looking for some type of Plug in for my Symphonic BBC Core plug in. When multiple notes are played at the same time..or higher register notes are played, they sometimes loose a natural feel and are projected with a bit of to much Air-Hi Fi. Besides some compression I am guessing that Saturation? Iron effects might be part of the answer. Not really sure. |

The new video section is up. I had to expand into two more posts on the thread to make it work because of the character limit. The posts don't run contiguously anymore but I put quick links in the appropriate places to let people jump ahead without scrolling. For each plugin, I included what text from the plugin site I deemed helpful and I tried to find a video that demonstrated the plugin well enough for someone to get a good idea of what it can do.

Sure. I'm not surprised, it's just a meter with a nice time-line interface and useful visualization. Not much to demo, really, just bring it up and watch :-)

Thanks Kev. There were a couple of videos there already on parallel compression but I added this one because I think it was explained somewhat differently so maybe it will work better for some people. I also made a little sub-section for the parallel compression videos so they're found more easily by anyone looking for that specifically.
