Sonarworks has started their Black Friday sale. I use their SoundID Reference for headphones. It's a remarkable bit of software and really does elevate the quality of what you hear from your headphones. That software is on sale for $59, down from $99.

The list of supported headphones can be found here.

BeesNeez microphones is having a sale. The code EOY15 will get you 15% off the following:
  • Lulu FET (their version of the Neumann KM84)

The Sound Radix Black Friday sale has started. This includes the Auto-Align plugin which is simple to use and will correct any phase issues you have with your tracks. I own it and it's worth every penny.

A few days back I listed the Klevgrand BF sale but I wanted to point out one particular plugin, Haaze 2, as something some of you might be interested in based on recent threads regarding turning mono into stereo. The plugin legs you pan frequencies to create a stereo effect. It's an interesting and simple approach and might be worth a look for some of you at only $29 during the sale.

Nugen Audio is running their first ever Black Friday sale. I haven't used any of their plugins but I know there are some people who swear by them.

If you're looking for some cheap plugins just to play around with, Hornet has a bunch that sell for less than $10.

Boz Digital Labs has some interesting plugins you don't see offered in too many places and their prices are great right now. I've used a couple of their plugins. They make good stuff.

Need a banjo accompaniment? Need someone whistling on a song? How about some background vocals? The folks at Realitone might have what you need. I own their Realibanjo plugin and it's a lot of fun.

If you need orchestral virtual instruments, the Chris Hein stuff is hard to beat. I own a bunch of his instruments. They sound fantastic and the articulations are spot on.

I love to use cello as an accompaniment to acoustic guitar. It can cover the role of the bass or it can be used beautifully for a counterpoint melody. Emotional Cello is the most beautiful sounding virtual cello I've ever heard. I've owned this for a few years and it still blows me away. On sale for $119 at BestService.com.

Mastering the Mix makes some very useful plugins. I use Levels as my metering plugin for masters because it only takes a glance for it to alert me to a problem that needs addressing. I highly recommend Levels and it's on sale for $34.

I also think Reference is a useful tool. It lets you drag and drop your reference track into the plugin so you can A/B your work vs the reference track. It even level matches the songs so you won't be fooled by loudness. Reference is on sale for $50.
