Hi there, I am selling my Baden D style guitar in beautiful Sienna Sunburst (rare) with LR Baggs Lyric pickup. Baden guitar was started at TJ Baden, former VP of Taylor Guitars. Each Baden is handmade in Vietnam by expert luthiers. These are handmade all solid wood guitars and can be seen in the construction and details. Amazing. See the beautiful dark rosewood with matching bindings (plus gold linings). Beautiful Sunburst finish. Ebony fretboard even the turners are ebony. It has a very modern sound, clean and minimalistic design. Definitely not your regular Taylor or Martin. Sound wise, it's between a Taylor for brightness and Martin for bass. Setup for low action throughout the neck. I've installed a LR Baggs Lyric Pickup ($200 + installation). Google it, it's the best mic pickup on the market. This is a all solid wood guitar. In almost mint condition. Comes with original hard case. bump. I know that people are cautious over Asian made guitars but really Badens are not your usual "Made in China" guitars. It's nice. Really nice.
If you get over your fear, then you will discover a hidden gem. Honestly, the same can be said about other Asian made guitars. For years, I only wanted "Made in USA" and don't get me wrong I still want US made guitars. But if budget is a concern (<$1000), it will be wise to look at Asian made guitars. For the money, you will get all solid wood construction, superior wood quality / sound. Sorry for the rant. I hope my Baden finds a good home.

Just to follow up on the parent, I've never played a Baden D-style myself, let alone this particular one. But I do own a Baden A-style (sitka/maple), and I love it. Hand made, all solid woods, very reasonably priced; and I have had plaudits, not gripes, about the build quality. If my guitar is any guide, I'd expect the D-style to be well made as well.
