Cool Jack Reacher fans - trailer for the Amazon Series!

Just watched the trailer for the new Amazon Prime series, "Reacher"... looks very good, certainly Jack is far more realistic than Tom was...

What do you guys think?

Let's see, Reacher is 6'5", Cruise 5'7" and Alan Ritchson is 6'2". That alone makes him more believable as Reacher.

Thanks for the heads up jseth, just watched the trailer .. looks good.

For what it's worth I think Tom Cruise nailed the attitude but lacked the altitude.

Looks like a show worth checking out.

And I thought Cruise did a great job in the role...

I'm onboard - thanks for the info. Just watched the trailer, and Ritchson clearly has the physicality that Lee Child imagined...

Big fan of the books, kind of a guilty pleasure. Thanks for the heads-up, I didn't know about the series.

Yes, that actor looks more the part than TC did. That said, I thought TC played the part pretty well, once I got used to him.

I just finished the latest "Reacher," and got to thinking that the guy who plays Rip in "Yellowstone" would be a good one to play the part.

I’ll check it out! LOVE the books, meh on Cruise as Reacher! Pulled off the acting part fairly well, but I watch books like a movie in my head, while I’m reading and he certainly doesn’t meet the physical features of Jack Reacher!

The camera persons must have had to shoot with camera low looking up to compensate for the altitude-nally challenged TC
Liked the movie, hope the series is as good ...

I didn't know there was a new series - I just found it on Prime and added it to my list. I think I'll give it a chance.

I like the size. Cruise does not have it. Reacher books are awesome. Lee Childs is a fine writer.

I've read all the Reacher books- I've read all the Bosch books- if the Reacher series is as good as the Bosch series I'll like it. I've watched the trailer and it looked pretty good-
That said, Bosch in the series did not resemble the Bosch in the books and the story lines were jumbled and could be recognized as such, but they came together well in the series-

We sat down last night to check out the "Reacher" series, and ended up watching 3 of the 8 episodes.

They were REALLY good! The guy playing Reacher is perfect.

Hope this series goes on for many seasons.

I agree. I binge watched over a couple of days. It was great...

We finished it last night. I always felt Cruise was laughable but watchable as Reacher. Both versions get the driving thing wrong, Reacher is a poor driver in the books, his life spent driving jeeps and never over 30mph.

But Reacher2 is much closer to the authors intent. Well done, lots of dialogue directly from the book.
