Let me be the first Duck fan to say that the two beat downs we took from Utah are perhaps the most miserable depressing and embarrassing losses we’ve endured…ever….the coaching was an absolute joke….they made zero adjustments after the 1st beat down….Anthony brown looked like a deer in the headlights from that first errant throw….the fact that Cristobal didn’t have the guts to yank him speaks to how poor his game time coaching really is….it’s been suspect from the start….please Miami…get him out of Oregon!!….his smash mouth tough love approach ain’t gonna fly on the west coast….there’s a reason there have been so many injured players at Oregon and I’m putting it on him….when he takes that job in Florida…good riddance I say…

….lastly…no doubt some folks were pleased to watch the Ducks go down in grand fashion…Husky fans come to mind…to you I say enjoy it….you’re pleasure is well deserved….to the others who had hoped to see a decent game…on the behalf of Duck fans everywhere…. I apologize for the unsightly spectacle…

…okay….I feel better now….

Edited to remove unnecessary vitriolic remarks…

The game of the day for me! Also of interest...

Baylor vs OK State
Wake Forest vs Pitt
Michigan vs Iowa

It would be great if Iowa could pull this one off.

Agreed!

Got a heckuva game going on in Atlanta. 24-17 at the half, Alabama.

Water under the bridge, but every Buckeye fan feared another team would replicate what Oregon did to us. Unfortunately it had to be TTUN. So be it. It’s not like OSU was never going to lose another game to TTUN. We can live with one loss a decade to them.
I’m focused now on my second favorite team, UC Bearcats. So far coach Fickel seems to be staying put and I hope he does. What he’s done with that program is amazing.

I have to admit I was wrong.
1). Georgia couldn’t/didn’t beat Alabama.
2). Alabama is better than I thought they were.

Now we potentially are back to two SEC teams in the playoffs.

I think the top 4 teams are staying the same but Clemson will probably slip from #1. If Alabama had lost, Notre Dame might have been able to slip in.

Can Michigan take #1 or will it be Alabama?

My guess for top four in order….

Alabama
Michigan
Georgia
Cincinnati

…that Michigan/Georgia matchup should be epic…

…if Michigan goes in at #1…. It will likely set up a Alabama/Georgia rematch at 2 and 3…..the selection committee might like that….probably a very lucrative matchup….I’ll be watching…

I think they could almost throw the four names in a hat and draw. It's going to be interesting how this all shakes out.

It also sounds like most in the sports world agree that these are the four teams. Unlike past years where there's always been a heated debate on teams #5 and #6 getting in.

I can't see Cincinnati winning it all but wouldn't that be amazing for a Group of Five to accomplish this? I'll be rooting for them as the underdog but I don't think they have a chance against the other three.

Followed by Notre Dame, Baylor, and Ohio State.

Looking forward to see how the Playoff committee ranks them.
