Gibson SJ-200 (Traded!)
Up for Sale is my Gibson SJ-200. This is a 2012 model with Sitka top and lovely Flamed Maple Neck, Back, and Sides. Nut is 1.72 with String spacing at the saddle of 2 3/16.
This is a tough one to get rid of, especially because it has some great figure to the back, which many of the Standard SJ-200's don't have. It has the typical big, smooth, SJ-200 tone with a ringing low end. Setup: Low action (Between 5/64 and 6/64 low E) with a great neck angle and tons of saddle. This guitar will likely never need a neck reset! Condition: I'd call this conservatively VG++. It's almost 10 years old and has been played, but definitely not abused. It has the typical light swirls that you see on most/all Gibson Sunbursts with a 1-2 very small finish indentations on the top that you can really only see if you tilt the guitar into the light. The only significant blemish is some 'worming' or indentations to the finish on the back of the neck (treble side) around the 6th fret from a previous owner's capo. Nothing through the finish. I have tried to capture in a picture below. Minimal fret wear. Priced reasonably for quick sale (something of a rarity in this market) $3500 (net to me) SHIPPED east of the Mississippi. Add $50 if West of Mississippi. Selling this one because I bought a 1949 J45 and it set me back a bit. Only trades I might consider would be a J45 True Vintage (which would then allow me to sell my J45 standard).
