Default X20 ordered

Happy Thanksgiving!
I finally pulled the trigger and paid the deposit on an X20. And...the waiting is the hardest part.

Congrats. The best way to make the wait fly by is to forget that you ordered it which turns out to be very easy for this 71 year old...

Yeah, the wait isn't easy. I got in the X20 queue just a couple weeks ago. Did they tell you 2 months for the wait?

Yeah it says 2 months. It's a good way to practice patience [emoji16]

Congratulations! This can be a good time of year to be waiting, with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year to divert your attention (or, of course, whatever other holidays you may observe).

I'd love to join the queue for another one, but I really can't justify it. Now, if my wife decides she wants an embroidery machine to join her quilting arsenal, we might have a different story

Way to go Rodg....excellent choice, but it is a gateway drug, I mean guitar ! You may as well get the X30, X7 and a few Rainsongs ordered so you don't have to wait so long. Congrats !

Congrats Rodg! Can you tell us what you ordered? I am considering an X20 sometime this coming summer for my 60th birthday and have been drooling over some of them :>

What I can't figure out... which pickup? I can't imagine why I would want the piezo bridge, but Emerald seems to put them on a lot of stock guitars. Why do they charge so much for just plain old fret dots? Seems like they should be included in the price of any guitar.

Excited for you!

Thx everyone! I couldn't resist all the extras so I ordered a Pau Ferro veneer and the Celtic vines and leaf inlay. I chose the LR Baggs element pickup. I'm a self taught strummer who leads worship but I don't know anything about the electronics, other than I needed to be able to plug it in [emoji848][emoji23]. This is way above my playing abilities but it's sure gonna be fun anyway. As far as buying more I've always been a one guitar guy so when it arrives the other one will be up for sale.
