Default Hot Schertler Amp

I bought a Schertler Jam 100 a couple of months ago and really like it for many reasons. But, after an hour or so it gets quite warm, actually hot. So much so the XLR connectors on the mic channels and the 1/4" guitar jack are hot also.

I'm using 2 mics and guitar with an active pickup straight into the Jam. The amp is on a stand so it has air circulation all around it. Volume is low to moderate.

Do Schertler amps run hot?

Thanks in advance,
Paul

I have no problem with my Jam 150 running hot and am running multiple inputs as you are. My Jam 150 sits on a folding chair.

Bob.
