SOLD 2009 Jimmy Edmonds 0000 $xxxx shipped
https://www.flickr.com/photos/157307...57669276420988 Sweet and simple guitar by Jimmy Edmonds, for those that don't know Jimmy, he operates in the luthier area of Galax, VA, is friends with Wayne Henderson and is quite a musician himself. This guitars neck was reset by Jimmy Edmonds a year ago, great guy only charged me for shipping, he takes care of his guitars even after they are long gone from his shop and has changed hands. The 0000 model(same as Martin M36/M38) is the "perfect" sized guitar, slightly thinner than a dreadnought with a 16 lower bout is very comfortable and the 1 3/4 neck is a nice C shape. The tone is awesome and guitar is responsive enough that you could play any style music without compromise. The 0000 can go from fingerstyle to flat picking to strumming and seems perfect for each. Solid Sapele back and sides(sounds similar mahogany), a solid Adirondack Spruce top, rosewood fretboard and bridge, Herringbone trim, Grover open back tuners and with adjustable truss rod. Guitar in great shape, except one unfortunate mark where a tool was dropped on it when getting a set up(shown in picture bottom side upper bout). This guitar is very easy to play, low action, very balanced, nice bass and clear trebles. Includes a hard case. Paypal preferred. Continental US shipping only. Thanks for looking. Edmonds guitars are the most underestimated guitars I have come across. I had one, ended up selling in this same price range... fantastic value for a premium instrument.

I completely agree with Sonic. Edmonds guitars are a tremendous value. Outstanding build quality, playability, tone and appearance. Jimmy Edmonds is a very talented luthier and a great individual. I am fortunate to live within a few hours of Jimmy and have met with him several times. I have owned a number of Jimmy's guitars (including this one) and still have his guitars in my stable.
This is a giveaway price for a top notch luthier built guitar. |

Thanks for the comments, it is a great guitar, easy to play, great build quality, sounds awesome. I don't want to sell, actually thinking about pulling it down, but letting the classifieds determine my fate. If it doesn't go soon, I will keep it in my stable. Thanks again
