Open D-Buckets of Rain
My second tune in open D. I’m really enjoying this tuning.

This is great, David, your best yet! Very smooth
Btw, you might like a version this tune by Woody Mann and Happy Traum. It’s from Fur Piece Ranch, you can find it on YouTube. Bravo!

Cool Tune David. Reminds me of old John Sebastian or that Early stuff from the mid 60s. Looks like your playing a Guild JF-30 ? I have one of those. Cool Axe.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I agree that the guitar’s tone is lovely. It’s a Guild GF30, a mini jumbo from the George Gruhn era at Guild. It was made in 1990 in Westerly, RI. I truly feel like it has the loveliest voice of any guitar I have owned. It’s a real sleeper in the vintage world. Spruce top, solid maple sides, with the secret sauce of an arched maple back.
