Default High Quality Chinese Factory

Hey wondering if anybody knows any any factories that produce guitars in china other than the Grand Rewards factory. I've been researching Chinese manufactureers and came across the Grand Rewards factory as I have been a fan of the Blueridge guitars for years. Looking to know are there any other factories that produce as high of quality instruments?

The Qingdao plant comes pretty close to Grand Rewards. I've had several Epiphone Masterbilts that came out of Qingdao, and their fit and finish were excellent.

In 2002 Epiphone opened the Gibson Qingdao plant dedicated to making only Epiphone instruments. The process leading to the opening of Gibson Qingdao was headed by Gibson luthier Mike Voltz and a team of Epiphone employees. The Gibson Qingdao plant currently employs approximately 550 people with over 450 people involved in direct labor.

The Gibson Qingdao plant, while initially manufacturing a variety of Epiphone guitars, is now mainly dedicated to the production of acoustic models. One example of acoustic guitar models dedicated to the Gibson Qingdao factory are the Masterbilt acoustics. - source

I wonder how many other factories there are considering the government probably owns them all.

Anyone know where Yamaha is making guitars in China? Are other brands made in that same facility?

Eastman has its own dedicated manufacturing site where they make both guitars and other stringed instruments with the Eastman brand name. Other than the recent merger with Dana Bourgeois, I believe everything there is produced under the Eastman brand name. They do most all activities by hand from reports and as evidenced by various factory tour videos.

I believe their factory/workshop is just outside of Beijing.

I used to visit Qingdao on buisness periodically....really wish I would have taken the time to go visit the factory there.
