We had this record when I was a child, and I learned VIBGYOR and cannot forget it now. It did come in handy when reading about Furch models.

Furch
After seeing Justin Johnson Paul david Alamo and others featuring Furch and having a soft spot for anything Czech (beer, Cz guns, etc) I pulled the trigger on a Furch indigo sight unseen from a store in Germany for about $600. I never thought I would see it. Arrived in perfect condition and is my daily guitar. I then bought a cedar Violet from Alamo which is a closet queen. Because I worked away from home once a month I of course needed a travel guitar and bought a Little Jane from reverb which is remarkable.
I’d buy any Furch over virtually any other brand. Maybe a guild esp vintage. Spoke to a good shop in Boston a year ago about Furch and they said they blew Martin and Taylor completely out of the water for sound playability and value. I couldn’t agree more. And the violet and indigo are laminate and both <$1000. Go to the Furch website and listen to the instruments on their app. |

I really like my sitka/walnut Furch Orange DS-W.
I got mine used from Mandolin Cafe. Would like to have a cedar topped OM cutaway. I remember our fine, but short lived, guitar store here. The Furch cedar models sounded the best new than most of the store's Martin and Taylors. |
