2" nut steel string Rider?
I'm just curious how difficult you think it would be to find the special 2" steel string Riders that Joe used to make? Anyone have any clue how many he made? I know he's not doing any more cf. I already asked. Thanks.

I wasn't aware that Joe had made the steel string Riders with 2" nuts. If the nut width is your primary interest you could check out the nylon string Riders.

Hey Evan,
Joe made at least a few of these for LA Guitars. I would love one...but Joe's done with cf. I'm trying to find out from LA Guitars how many were made. I really would like to find a used one eventually... https://www.laguitarsales.com/index....lus-steel.html |

Elementary;
Good luck in your search. The riders were pretty fantastic guitars and the one you are searching for would be a unique holding. Joe could probably tell you how many were made. |

I see why Joe does not want to divide his efforts and build with both CF and ekoa. But there may be a few market niches he is missing out on..... For example, a Lucky 13 built with ekoa might be a winner, but could potentially undercut Savoy and El Capitan sales.

I did a Google search for used Blackbird Rider Guitars and there are very few for sale anywhere. It would be ever harder to find a 2" nut steel string model.

If any were actually ever made with that nut width. I think they were 1.75" standard except maybe the nylons string version?
