Anyone play an Ovation VXD ?
Just stumbled across some on eBay. I then watched a few YouTube clips. It's an interesting idea, but obviously, didn't sell well enough.
If you played one, how was it ? What did you like or not like ?

If you mean the Ovation VXT, I have one. Unfortunately I don't think the acoustic sound is very authentic--lacks warmth.
However, the electric side is wonderful. Sounds like a Fender Robben Ford model or a Gibson ES-335. Also, the guitar is very well made--I think Hamer had something to do with it. |

Yeah, VXT. My mental typo.

Another nice feature of the VXT is the Seymour Duncan USA pickups. Mine has the humbuckers, not the P90's. Plus I think they go through the preamp for the acoustic side so they have a bit of a hi-fi sound to them....
