Another take on Scarborough Fair.
Sorry, no video for this one, just the audio. It was recorded at Haggarty Sound Studio, Peterborough, ON. in 2001 or 2002. Dave Conley is playing keyboards and sharing vocals. I'm playing a Taylor Wc-14 (Sitka over Walnut). If I were to record this song today I'd forego the pickup altogether and just go with a mic. Oh well, live and learn.
This post is inspired by Glenn's excellent rendition of Scarborough Fair. Thanks for listening, Trevor |

Very nice Trevor! You sure have the faster tempo down! The song really moves, which is cool! Good for you! Nice job on this!
I like the interlude in there -- very well done! - Glenn

Excelllnt. The harmonies are spot on. Very reminiscent of the original. Good energy.

Thanks Glenn, jmat and Roger for the positive comments and taking the time to give the tune a listen.
I recently acquired Final Cut Pro to go along with Logic Pro X so hope to get some instrumental videos up by the end of April. First up will be my take on "'O'Carolan's Farewell to Music". I'll be playing it on a 1975 custom made Dieter Hopf Gran Concierto classical guitar. |
