Bitterroot Guitars truss rod

Is anybody familiar with and have opinions on the truss rods from Bitterroot Guitars?

I bought two and gave them away. I subsequently took a conservative path and bought truss rods from Martin. These are parts I don't want to see ever again once they're installed. They might be just fine, but I didn't want to take risks that can be avoided for a few bucks' investment.

I use the type they sell called "two way with welded cap." I have them in over 50 acoustics with no problems so far.

I used two of them and have 2 or three more. A welding buddy of mine said the welds looked just fine on them. I don't have an issue with them. I will probably stick with Martin but I bought those just to see, and they seem fine to me.

I know nothing about their truss rods, but I bought several sets of tuning machines from bitterrootguitars.com and they were just fine. The one's I bought aren't quite as smooth as Gotohs, but they tune easily, stay in tune, and look good. And they cost $18 a set.
