While the hardshell fits exactly, the TRIC fits pretty well, while also having the advantage of back straps and at least a little external room for widgets, lower price, and greater availability. So that's what we usually go with.

If you decide to track down a Guardian and ship it to us, that's also totally ok...
My AJ fits in my TRIC case so well you would think it was built for it. Dollar for dollar the best case for me. I can appreciate the hardship of delaying a new Halcyon while waiting.

Wow. The whole company gets a break? Then again, I'm contracted to GM and we get a July break and a Christmas break both of which are two weeks, although I only had one week this month.

The TRIC case for my NL-00 works well for me, by the way.

In an assembly line factory, it's easiest to just hit the kill switch for a few weeks than try to plug holes in the line all year.

After trading for # 132 from the OP, I have decided I can't own just one Halcyon. They are wonderful guitars. Build quality is second to none.

I now have a NL00 on order from Ed and company. Torrified Lutz over Wenge back and sides. Ebony fretboard and bridge with ebony bindings. It going to be a long 9 months, it's like waiting on a newborn. I can't wait to see some updates.

Just signed up at #219. Mahogany / Lutz Slope D, short scale, rosewood board and bridge. Trying not to be too excited as it'll make the wait even worse.

Default Build #164-13 fret NL-00 Lutz Top/Black Walnut B/S. Arrived!

So I opted to add a Martin style 000 pickguard:

This is a nerdy tribute to the mongrel, stripped Gibson Nick Lucas played by this guy:

It sounds and plays great. Thanks, Ed!
