One quiet evening, while walking we met, from then on, our lives have been set.

Love sweet love, Oh so fine, she knows I'm hers, I know she's mine.

Chorus

Many years later, with help from above, still together, must be love.

Chorus
What a pretty little song! Congrats on your 50th, Evan! Here's to you both!

JR;

Very nice! And surprising. It used to be that a song would come out and a variety of players and groups would give it a run. Hearing your version of the song is like listening in on an alternate universe. Thank you for taking the time.

What a nice gesture, J.R. The song sounds really good. Cool stuff!

Thank you everyone. I appreciate the nice remarks. Evan, in some ways that's going on today with all the remixes and artists covering each other's music.

CONGRATS to both you and Barbara.... that is quite an accomplishment and hard work!!! I will be celebrating my 30th next year with my wife and hope to be serenading my beautiful bride in the next 20 years like you with my CF guitars. I know my guitars will be in great shape wish we all aged like they do...!!!!

I'm thinking hard about getting an X7 and have been reading as much as I can find. Just finished reading this entire thread. Great information about the guitar and some great photos of you, the guitar, and your trip. What a truly remarkable thing you get to do. Those whales are incredible. Thanks for all the time you put into that thread.

Thanks for the kind words, MJH. Our lifestyle has always been pretty mobile, especially so since we retired. The X7 isn't just a fine travel guitar - it is a great guitar when we aren't traveling. I like the size. I like what carbon fiber offers for both sound and indifference to climate.

Yes, the Orcas (Killer Whales) are amazing. I do not take that job for granted, and have thoroughly enjoyed the last 5 years with that company in the Pacific Northwest. We are home for a while currently... I get to play any of my guitars, but still pick up the X7 most often... and we go out on our own boat to watch the bottlenose dolphins. On our own schedule.

Good luck with your X7 search/decision.

Jim
