Default Bridge pins

I need to replace one of the bridge pins on my CA "OX". They appear to be made of a very hard dark brown wood. Ebony?
I was surprised how many different sizes of bridge pins are available not to mention the materials.
I will replace all six and buy a few extras. Does anyone know the specs?

This is of some urgency as Slick is moaning because of the new hole in his chest.

Poor thing....temporarily, I will pour in a jigger of Hogs and plug the hole with a Marlboro 100s.

I do not know which pins are used by CA.

The vast majority of companies use industry standard 3-degree taper pins. (Larrivee, Taylor, Rainsong, Martin before mid 90s).

The 2nd most common pin size is the 5-Degree Martin Presentation style.

If you have another guitar with which you can test fit a pin we can probably figure it out.

I pulled a pin from my Eastman E10P and it was much smaller that the pin from my OX!

I could be wrong, but I seem to recall a question having come up before about CA bridge pins, and I think there were images in the thread that showed two different pin possibilities. There may be info on how to get them in that thread. I did a search to try and find the thread, but couldn’t easily track down the one in my mind. Of course, it’s possible my memory is wrong about this, maybe pins for a different guitar. The best thing to do is call Composite Acoustics.

Eastman uses standard 3-degree pins according to every reference I can find.

I called CA and they passed me over to their parts department. No return calls. I think I will have to take Slick over to Maple St. Guitars to get an answer to size and taper.

More to come.

I have wasted lots of time searching but Slick deserves it.

I looked at a CA earlier today. I did not remove the pins, but they did look more or less like 5-degree Martin style "presentation" pins.

And No I don't know what year the CA was...
