Default Newbie string question

New to electric and just got a new strat professional that came with 9-42 strings. If one decides to either go larger, say, tens, would a new setup be required? Sorry for a simplistic question. Appreciate any opinions.

If you're using the tremolo, most likely. If it's a hardtail, or the trem is blocked in place, then maybe not, but it would surely be worth checking the intonation.

There shouldn't be too much of a difference at the nut, but the intonation on the b and g strings will be significantly different. Also, the truss rod may need tightened a bit.
