Best Nylon Acoustic Electric under $1,000?
I'm sure there's been a thread on this topic. Can someone point me to it, please.
I've been looking at a few: Godin Cordoba Koa CE Yamaha Ibanez Washburn I would only use it infrequently and am more concerned about good amplified sound, so body size and acoustic sound isn't as important. I would also like a smaller neck profile (Godin gives a choice) but don't really want to spend too much money as it would only get used about 5% of the time. Thanks in advance! |

if you're really concerned only about the amplified sound, I'd go with the Godin

Another option if you're only concerned about the amplified sound,
check out Carvin and their a/e nylon string. I tried a couple when they first came out years ago, nice build quality for the price, not much in terms of straight acoustic tone but nice amplified tone. ps. I just noticed that you're in Costa Mesa, There is a Carvin Store on Main St. in Santa Ana between 17th Street and the 5 freeway, almost directly across from Bowers Museum. |

Thanks!....I'm going with either the Cordoba Orchestra 12 or the lowest line Taylor. Peace!
