Just celebrated our 40th, preceded by a couple years of “ scandalous” cohabitation.

My wife and I met on a blind date Nov. 1979. We remained as just friends for a while before going steady. We think that was key to our long-term relationship. We were married Apr. 1981. It’ll be 43 years next April, still going strong. She’s a wonderful person.

My wife Corrine and I have been married 38 years…..but we have been living together for almost 44 years…..we met in 1979 in Telluride Colorado and are now retired near Silverton Oregon…our two daughters, Kaela and Linsey live nearby in Salem….we’re growing old together now….tending our gardens and getting out almost daily with our fine dog Roy…

I was married for 26 years. I've now been divorced for 20 years. Ask me which of those periods were the happiest

21 years, my only marriage. Close a couple other times but glad they didn't work out. I had some growing up to do, and they weren't the right person. Proud of my life with her.

I met my wife in May of 1973

we were in 9th grade (50 years ago!)

We've been together ever since.

Married in 1977. This year is our 46th anniversary (late October)

Recently celebrated 45 years of marriage. And 25 of them were pretty good. (Okay, that's a joke.)

Ours was an arranged marriage when we were both eight years old. That is the only way we could both be married 45 years, since we're each only 53 years old now. (Okay, that's a lie.)

My husband and I just celebrated our 30th anniversary yesterday, September 18th. We took a moonshine tasting trip on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad to the Nantahala Gorge. It was a beautiful sunny day and the day was completely delightful!

50 years; 40 with my current wife. I needed practice. My wife sent me the following joke on our 40th.

———
“After being married for 50 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, ‘Fifty years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep with a hot 23-year-old girl every night.

Now, I have a $500,000 home, a $45,000 car, a nice big bed and a large screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 69-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things.’

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap house, driving a junk car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.

42 years next month and we dated for two years before we got married. We never lived in sin, at least not officially.

37 yrs tomorrow, she rescued me from the local pound. she’s a wonderful woman, Mom, Grandma, spouse. I am a very fortunate guy. We have a recipe that works for us, keep it simple.
