Not the sort of guy you want visiting your village. If you hear he's on his way, it's time to load up the donkey and get out.

I've never done the dna thing myself, my wife did it and found out her father wasnt her father. She tried to talk me into doing it, I almost agreed, but I was gonna send them a swab from my dog, would love to get something in writing that says I'm XX% bloodhound.

Julia Roberts and Edward Norton were on an episode of "Finding Your Roots." Julia learned that her surname was actually Mitchell, not Roberts and that she and Norton were distantly related. Edward Norton learned that Pocahontas was his 12th great-grandmother. Cool stuff...

Genealogical records reviewed on the show Finding Your Roots reveal that Pocahontas, the mythologized 17th-century Native American woman, is the 12th great-grandmother of actor Edward Norton.

The Ticket to Paradise star appeared on a recent episode of Finding Your Roots, where she chatted with Henry Louis Gates Jr. about her family tree. Roberts received the shock of a lifetime when she learned that she’s not actually a Roberts. Instead, she’s a Mitchell.

Genetics is fascinating stuff. I suspect that 12th great grandparent of Julia and Ed is related to me as well.

Quite possibly. John Rolfe took his native bride to the UK where she died in 1617...

When I was working in a maximum security prison for women, there were two young inmates who were twins but not raised together. The powers that be were having fits with them taking each other's place in two separate residential buildings. I suggested that they make them cellmates...

You would hope that the police would look for a bit more evidence. Either that or toss a coin and hope to get lucky.

Actually:

Even if the twins had identical DNA, the environment (even in the womb) influences how their genes are expressed. This can lead to differences in personality, health, and appearance. Scientists have found that a variety of environmental factors (such as smoking, diet, exercise, and stress levels) can affect our genes by boosting the activity of a gene, slowing it down or even curtailing its activity altogether.
