I've been told not to publish results, which I guess means that some in the USA don't get to watch live.
A remarkable race - mainly due to remarkable Banked circuit, like the British Brooklands circuit, and right on the beach (Zandvoort) and some remarkable weather! Also remarkable (mainly) Dutch spectators - the Dutch know how to party! Well worth watching!

I think not publishing results should only refer to the thread title. Anyone who hasn't watched should know not to open the thread until they know the results of the race. Otherwise, there's no use having a discussion about it since we can never know who the last person to watch the event is.
There were some dubious decisions made over stops and tyres and some good overtakes on a track you can't overtake on. Made more interesting by the weather but it probably needed that. Long term forecast is for similar conditions next week in Italy. |

I tried to watch the rebroadcast on YouTubeTV, but they cut off the end and didn't include the restart. This is starting to be a problem with watching sports on this service.
Update - YTTV published a later version than included the finish of the race. The initial version did not. Last edited by AX17609; 08-27-2023 at 02:27 PM. |

Too bad Alonso doesn’t have quite enough car to challenge for the title. That would make it an interesting year given his age and come back and all that.

I agree. I would love to see him win a race again and maybe even challenge for the title. I believe, given the right car, he is still capable.
