How about a double-Quad-0-fer Superbowl? Bills-Vikings. At least one will be off the snide after!

AFC is looking strong with their top four seeds undefeated the last quarter of the season. (Granted, there would have been one loss if the Bengals/Bills game had been finished.). Ravens and Dolphins are toast without their QB1, though the Ravens defense is capable of taking it to the Bengals depleted line.

49's are the only NFC team on a roll. The Vikings are 3-1 (3-2) and everyone else is 2-2.

My un-scientific prediction is Chiefs over the Bills for the AFC crown and 49ers over the Eagles for the NFC, then 49ers over the Chiefs.

Default Bengals

Bengals will finally win the Super Bowl. Long time fan, lived through their 2 time super bowl loss to San Fran in the 80's. And last year their 'loss' though the calls at the end seemed to go unfairly against them (Just my opinion). Anyway, this is the year. Go Bengals.

Iowa State guy, rooting for "Mr. Irrelevant" Brock Purdy. He was a 4 year starter at ISU, started very strong and just did not get better as he went on ... if anything, he went backward. I'm one of, well, everybody, that didn't see this coming. He's had multiple TD passes in all of his games and has not lost yet.

That said ... after watching the avalanche of pass rushes swallow Russell Wilson on the Broncos this year, it is amazing to see how much time Brock Purdy has back there ... and a killer running game to boot. It's the perfect situation for a rookie QB.

Wait a minute.....weather forecast for Santa Clara today is rainy. Maybe Seahawks get at least one checked box. Do the 49ers and Brock still have magic in the bag or will the clock strike midnight and the pumpkin replace the Lexus?

Looks like fairly light rain during the game, but dang was it coming down this morning! My wife and her friend got some great seats.

49ers looking worse than I expected. Seattle looking better than I expected. 17 to 16 Seattle at the half. Great game so far.

After 3rd Q ...49ers improved. Seattle no changes. Some gold dust still in the bag apparently.

Jacksonville looks not ready but Chargers looking ready to play. JAX needs to stop whining to refs after every play. Will be hard to match 49ers Seattle game.

I went to bed with ten minutes to go in the Jags/Bolts game. I have to say I was very surprised to find that they won on a last second field goal. For them to win after giving up 5 turnovers is almost unheard of. Kudos to them for not giving up on themselves.

Niners haven’t looked this good for many years. Their second half performance was pretty impressive.

They really woke up the second half. The first half ended like the Seahawks had them figured out.

Stunning that the Chargers lost after leading 27-0. They also won the turnover battle 5-0. I've seen huge comebacks before, but usually there's turnovers from the team that blows it.

I turned off the Chargers - Jaguars with a few minutes left in the first half and the Chargers playing dominant football, up 27-0. Yeah, I was very surprised this morning when I saw the outcome. Apparently I slept through a great comeback.
