1960s Harmony Broadway - Worth fixing?
I've had this guitar for 30 some years now and other than use it for lap slide with a nut extender, I've had little use for it because the neck needed a reset, maybe some fret work. Now I've come to the point that I should try to do something else with it, but not sure if it is worth spending the money to get it fixed. My local guy estimates between $200-$400 to get the neck where one can actually play a chord without hurting oneself.
So $64 question, is it worth getting fixed? I have no real sentimental value to it but can see that it deserves to be played other than with the bar/slide. Pics here: https://reverb.com/item/18510194-har...aster-sunburst

For $200, I'd do it, $400, I'd think about it.

If there’s no sentimental value , I would not. H Broadways were pressed ply. I’ve seen decent playable old Broadways with no issues and other decent mid grade H arch tops go for around $300. The Harmony A.Top model to look out for is the Cremona’. solid carved top- Top of line. They had different levels from Cremona #1 up to I think Cremona #7. I’ve a seen few of those in decent shape with minor issues go for around $500.
