Default NUD - Luthier build

The BJG Tenor Ukulele
Hand made by Bill Hatfield, Luthier.
Solid high figured, American Walnut Back, Sides and Top.
Adirondack Spruce Bracing (traditional Martin)
Flame Maple Binding, double bound.
Walnut Bound, Flame Maple Fingerboard, 17" scale
Honduran Mahogany neck with stacked heel.
Bolt on Neck construction
Walnut Headstock Veneer
Mother of Pearl Logo
White-Black-White Sound Hole Rosette
Bone Nut & Saddle
Flame Maple End Graph
Maple Neck Heel with Beer Stein Engrave
Nickel Silver Frets
Rosewood Bridge,
Abalone/MOP fingerboard inlay

This is Bill's first Ukulele and 3rd instrument build. I think he hit it out of the park with this beauty. He also had to build all of the tooling for this first build.

I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase it from Bill, who donated all of the proceeds to his son in law who is fighting cancer.

Here are some photos of this little one-of-a-kind beauty. It's Bill's first instrument he ever sold. I can't put it down. It is so much fun to play and sounds so good!

Very nice, Mark. Props to Mr. Hatfield and best wishes for his SIL.
Enjoy the new uke!
